I would often go for walks to Battersea Pk to look at the various events going on.

Funfairs and Circuses have always embodied for me, a metaphor for life; colour; geometry ; play; pattern and design; architecture; relationships; physical effort; organization; environments.

A merry-go-round is one of the best embodiments, in which people on beautifully crafted animals or sea creatures ride in a relentless circle up and down caught in the wheel of life.
 

Prints are available and have the option to be hand signed by Lorraine, they have a limited print run of 250 and are individually numbered.
