Abstract works of a serious nature are often simply taking apart an object and re-arranging into a new message or form. It is invention of imagination and meaning; perhaps a visual mechanics of the mind.I had found an old clock. It fascinated me that each part was precise with its own function separately, and yet when placed together became a functioning object to mark time.
Time displaced; time altered; time ceased, surrounded by itself.
Prints are available and have the option to be hand signed by Lorraine, they have a limited print run of 250 and are individually numbered.
