Lorraine Gill Galleries - The Australian Series
Sometimes it is thought that the desert, although a very dangerous place, is hard and bleak. Sometimes this is so, but I found way out in the landscape a different awareness of the earth, its sensuality, its seeming intelligence, and the cycles and patterns of growth and regeneration. I have used the metaphor of the lovers, in pure spirit, intertwined, the male and the female entities procreating our planet. The lovers are nestled within a seed of the earth in the warm pinks and reds of vibrationary activity.
